REd Ltd Company Policy
We aim to comply with the 8 key points set out in Schedule 1 of the Data Protection Act 1998

  1. Relevant and necessary data will be held with the individual´s consent
  2. Data will only be held for lawful purposes.
  3. Excessive data will not be gathered, only that which is relevant to a future employer.
  4. Individual teachers will be able to update or withdraw their own data.
  5. Data will not be kept longer than necessary for the recruitment process.
  6. Data will not be processed or passed on for direct marketing purposes.
  7. Personal details will be kept in a confidential area and only released when REd International have taken reasonable steps to identify their clients as genuine potential employers of teachers. The passing on of this data will be authorised by the data subject (teacher) as part of an online agreement.
  8. Transfer of data to a destination (usually a school) outside the European Economic Area will only take place with the agreement of the data subject.
